DAYCARE INFORMATION

The More You Know

We believe that a day of dog daycare should be full of fun and exciting things for your pup to do so at the end of the day they go home dog tired!

Unlike other daycare settings in the area, your dog is never closed in to a kennel during their daycare stay.  They are in a group play setting for their entire time at daycare.

We believe in open group play and believe that it is important to keep dogs playing together all day long.  We also believe that a busy dog is a well behaved dog because if they are busy they cannot find trouble to get in to.  Being busy does not mean that your dog is outside all day either.  We have an indoor facility for your dog to play in, rest in, and hang out in when appropriate.

We strongly suggest you arrive early in the day.  (Check out or daycare hours below.) This way they find their spot in the pup world order.  Dogs that have behavioral issues are taken out of the daycare setting as not to harm themselves, other dogs, or our pack leaders.  We will inform you of behavioral issues that may occur.  If a bad behavior can be corrected early then there is a chance to change it.

Fresh water is made available to the dogs at all times inside and outside.  During warm days, additional breaks will be made for rest, misting tents will be set up, and additional shaded areas in our building will be opened.  During the cold season, dogs are outside for a while and back in if they are cold.  If it is cold for us to be outside it is cold for the dogs to be outside.

We do not feed your dog lunch unless it is necessary.  The reason for this is that the dogs do like to run and play hard while they are here.  We do not want any of them to have a turned stomach.  This is a life or death situation should this occur.  So eat up before you come or be hungry when you get home.

DAYCARE RULES

Everything is Better When Everyone is On the Same Page

All dogs must have shots appropriate for their age! These include:

  • Rabies

  • Distemper (DHLPP)

  • Bordetella (Canine Cough)

Proof of vaccinations MUST be on file with our facility in order for your dog to play.

All dogs must have a collar around their necks.

  • For the safety of the dog, all dogs in daycare must have a collar around their neck.  This can be used to seperate dogs in fights, or to assist in moving a dog from one area to another.

  • It is highly recommended that the collar have an ID tag on it.  Dogs will pull on the collars when they play and it can often be difficult to narrow the dog down that the collar came from.

All dogs must play well with other dogs

  • For the safety of your dog, other dogs, and our staff, dogs that are aggressive or have issues with other dogs will not be able to stay at daycare with us.

All dogs must be spayed or neutered by 6 months

FACEBOOK, PHOTOS, & FUN!

Be Sure to Sniff Us Out!

While we will do our best to get pictures of the dogs through their day at daycare, we cannot guarantee that you will see your dog become a Facebook sensation daily.  Photos are completely random and our staff often takes a dozen pictures before one turns out that is good enough to post.  So please do not be offended if your dog doesn't make it every day they come.  The pictures just need to have our paw print of approval and be a good shot to make it to the page...and some of these dogs are just crazy when it comes to photos.

Be sure to check us out on Facebook for all of our photos, announcements, and more.
