TRAINING CLASSES
Class Description and Schedules
Training is very important for you and for your dog. From basic commands to more advanced commands, your dog will benefit from training. Our trainer will work with both you and your dog and may evaluate your dogs performance and suggest a different class or additional training.

BEGINNER - BASIC OBEDIENCE CLASS
This class is a basic introduction class for dogs of all ages. Training will focus on the following commands: Heel with auto-sit, come, sit, down, sit-stay, down-stay and loose leash walking.

INTERMEDIATE CLASS
Additional Training
This class is an expansion from our basic class and is for canine companions 6 months and older. In this second class we work with commands such as "down", recall commands, "wait", and "on your bed or place". Additional attention will be made for "auto sit" on the heel command.
ADVANCED CLASS

Advanced Session
The third class is our final expansion. In this class we work with canine companions to settle on the mat, focus while on loose leash when there are distractions, the recall command from a distance, duration, and other distractions, and a "sit and down" on recall.
CANINE GOOD CITIZEN TRAINING
Dogs of all ages
Canine Good Citizen, or CGC, is a ten-skill training program that’s open to all dogs–purebred and mixed breed–that focuses on teaching the basics of good manners and obedience, instilling the values of responsible ownership, and strengthening the bond between you and your dog at home and out in the community.
THERAPY DOG CLASS
Additional Training
If your dog has passed the beginner, intermediate, and advanced class and/or Canine Good Citizen (CGC) or has been evaluated and recommended by our trainer, this is the class to further your dogs training. This class will teach polite greeting, socialization with people of all ages, behaving in public settings, "go say hello", "paws up", "lap" and getting use to wearing a vest or therapy dog bandana (not provided).
PLAY & TRAIN
Personalized Individualized Training
You asked....and we listened! We are happy to announce that we offer individual training sessions for your dog while they are in daycare with us. Your dog will have two 15 minute individual sessions during the day. Owners can indicate what you would like the trainer to work on during that session.
STAY & TRAIN
Personalized Individualized Training
Again...you asked and we are providing! We are offering training sessions with our trainer while your dog is boarding with us. Similar to Play & Train, your dog will have two 15 minute individual training sessions.
